Jeremy Canonico

Drums & Percussion

Jeremy has been teaching and playing music professionally for over 15 years. He has experience in many styles of music; from playing jazz standards, punk rock, metal, rock, blues, funk and folk music. He has nearly 100 recordings under his belt and has traveled the country with various acts.

Jeremy started playing drums at the age of 10 in his school's concert band. After playing drums and percussion, and leading the drum section in high school marching band, he moved on to The Ohio State School of Music to study Jazz Percussion.

Christophe Rodriguez

Guitar & Stringed Instrument Instructor 

A graduate of Ohio University, Christophe has been playing music for over 30 years and teaching since 1995. While guitar is his instrument of choice, he is proficient in all stringed instruments including violin, banjo, cello and piano.

 Formally trained in the Classical/Flamenco style of guitar, Christophe is fluent in traditional music notation, theory and composition. He has taught music for Lang Music, Studio One (Sweetman Music), The Lancaster Festival Guitar Clinic and was a tutor for music students at Ohio University Athens.

                                                  Gregg Shively

Guitar & Stringed Instrument Instructor 

Gregg began playing guitar and shaping his career during the great great rock n roll explosion of the 1960's. He played in local bands throughout high school before heading to Indiana State University to pursue and education in music. Jumping at the chance of a lifetime Gregg left college early to tour with the legendary Chubby Checker. From there, he went on to tour with artists such as the Diamonds and Lou Rawls before returing home to Lancaster in 1977.

 Since then Gregg has remained a familiar face in the local music scene; teaching guitar at Coffman Music, working in sales for Coyle Music and managing Lang Music store. In addition to teaching at Stix In Time, Gregg is a partner and sound engineer at SoundFactory Records in Columbus, Ohio.
